Robyn74 Good review. I'm interested to see this show as well, but as someone who rarely gets sucked in to series (Lost is not my cup of tea) this might be a good solution, with each week essentially being a stand alone show.
But his capture of Dushku's acting is spot on. I'll be interested to see how she, and the show, plays out.
Time Magazine Reviews Joss Whedon's DOLLHOUSE!!
Ain't It Cool News - The best in movie, TV, DVD, and comic book news. —
... Time Magazine has what could be the first review of Joss Whedon’s new sci-fi series. Here’s how that review ends: If it weren't for Whedon's pedigree, I'm not sure I'd be dying to see a second episode. But for me, the main draw now is not seeing Dushku become a different person every week, but getting to see Joss Whedon become a different writer every week. Read all of Time’s review here . ... becoming another person. I thought: Oh, look! There's Eliza Dushku with glasses and her hair in a bun! As someone who suffered through as much Tru Calling as I could handle (That'd be about ten minutes, if you're curious), I have to concede Poniewozik's point. After all the back-and-forth about shooting delays because of scripts not being good enough, will its star ultimately be its undoing? Image from Entertainment Weekly. I Have Seen Dollhouse [Tuned In]

... In the spirit of continued Dollhouse mania, it was suggested that we post a review that said something nice (at least kind of nice) about the show. Mr. Poniewozik reserves the right to change his mind (but mostly didn’t, here’s ...
