... was being pulled from its schedule during November sweeps and people were disappointed. I suspect they'll be even more disappointed with the news that the network has officially canceled the show.
They are currently filming episode 11 of their 13 episode order, but there is no confirmation that Fox will continue to air the remaining episodes that have been completed (the show was set to return on December 4th – my birthday, for those who don't know!).

The Apocalypse Comes Early For Joss Whedon's Dollhouse [Dollhouse]

... It makes me sad that I'm already using the past tense for this show — here's hoping the Hollywood Reporter is wrong, and the axe hasn't fallen yet. Or at the very least, here's hoping the show does get to air its last episodes in December and January. And if a few million extra people were to tune in to watch a two-hour dose of Summer Glau on the 4th., then you never know, right? [The Hollywood Reporter] ...
FOX cancels Dollhouse
TV Squad —
This seems to be the week for cancellation notices. ABC canceled Eastwick yesterday and Hank today, and now FOX has announced that they are canceling Joss Whedon's Dollhouse.
Is this a surprise? Not at all. In fact, a lot of people were rather surprised when the show was given a second season. I wonder how many fans of the first season didn't even bother watching the second season of the show because they knew it was a surprise that the show got renewed and they knew it was just a matter of time before FOX canceled ...
Dollhouse Falls Asleep for the Last Time
Tuned In —
No one could say they didn't see this coming, but The Hollywood Reporter says it's official: Dollhouse has been canceled . Fox, it reports, will finish running the rest of the 13 episodes of season 2. Whenever a show with an intense fan base gets axed, there is wailing and gnashing and second-guessing. This is an especially hallowed ritual with Fox, which fans seem to believe airs great shows like Arrested Development (for three seasons) just for the cruel pleasure of later canceling them. But though I'll miss Dollhouse, and though I risk the wrath of the Internet, I'll say it: ...
FOX Cancels 'Dollhouse', Surprises Few
Home —
[image] Wow, Dollhouse is really starting to click and just aired arguably its best episode! People are really starting to pick up what it's putting down. The cast is awesome and it's got a super-interesting futuristic end-game and oh look it's been cancelled. FOX, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! The Hollywood Reporter originally reported the news a little after 3pmET. I say that it's not surprising because, as a scifi fan, I'm well aware of the network's modus operandi. The warning signs were all there - a less than desirabele timeslot, the support of a ...
